Hey Southern Women . . . Is This Right?

Personally, I’m not buying it:

War turns southern women away from GOP

So Sis, Lorie, Debbie, Beth, and any of the other southern women out there, is this right?

A recent Associated Press-Ipsos poll found that three out of five Southern women surveyed said they planned to vote for a Democrat in the midterm elections.

Well?

UPDATE: That’s a no from Beth (My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy)

Speaking for me and everyone I know here, the answer is a resounding NO. If anything, it’s quite the opposite. We see how the Democrats regard our military and the war, and we love and respect our military men and women and support victory in Iraq and against Islamic extremism. Period.

and a no from Debbie (Right Truth) as well.

Sure some of us think the war in Iraq could have been done differently, but will that translate into giving up the security of our nation to the Democrats? No way in Hades! No way. That would be disaster for our country.

UPDATE II: I’ve been reading the blogs of these bright, insightful, tough, southern women writers for quite a while, so I had a pretty good idea of what their responses would be. Sister Toldjah continues the streak countering the results found in the article.

My answer?

HELL NO.
