Yes, there may be a lot of infighting among the GOP candidates and their supporters. Eventually that will all sort itself out and it will be time for the 2012 GOP Convention. Among the 50,000 or so visitors coming to Tampa will be a large group of Bloggers. I’m lucky. Tampa is practically in my back yard. Others coming to Tampa will be looking for some help.

Neither President Bush nor Vice President Cheney will attend the Republican Convention on Monday. Instead the president will be monitoring the Hurricane as it impacts the U.S. gulf coast.

The GOP is weighing changes to the length and tone of the convention in light of the approaching storm. Details have not been released.

The first results, from the Republican Convention in West Virginia, are being reported by CNN. 18 of the state’s 30 delegates are awarded by today’s convention. Those 18 go to Mitt Romney. Not Yet.

(UPDATE AND CORRECTION) In the first round of balloting no one received 50% of the vote. A second round of voting is scheduled to start this afternoon. The numbers below are from the first round of voting.
