And if you have 20 blogs to which to attend, it's unsurprising that at least some of them suffer. I know that you're busy with having a real life -- having to actually work for a living really sucks, doesn't it? -- and you really can't give your sites much more attention than you do. Realistically, you are more in the mode of being someone else's co-blogger right now than an independent. I happen to love the name bRight & Early; I think it's really pretty cool, so shutting that one down would be a shame. But unless you can actually do more with it, it really does matter much. Now, as for having five separate hosting accounts, that's madness. I have four separate domain names (my regular, the now-closed CSPT, a site for my church, and the local Republican Party site), all on one hosting account. I use bluehost.com, and have virtually unlimited bandwidth, for $71.40 per <i>year.</i> (The domain names cost $10 apiece). The real question isn't how many domain names to close down or hosting accounts to consolidate, but what you wish to do -- and can realistically do -- as a blogger. I used it on the old site, and my links to the various presidential campaigns use only the inages, but on my new site, a link to The Wall Street Journal website has the image and the title, and it looks ugly.
