What Happened Overnight

100 Post Marathon #21

I should probably do the 100 hours of sleep marathon based on what happened the last 6 hours. I picked up another 7 twitter followers (@brightandearly) bringing my total up to 305. That should bring my Klout score up. It’s currently 23.

I also received another donation. If you are wondering why I haven’t mentioned the donors here, it’s simply because I’m not sure if they want to be mentioned publicly. Rest assured, I do thank each and every one of them. The support is great and I value the help offered by these friends old and new.

One more thing about today, it is the last day of my blog-year. I started bRight & Early on May 24th, 2005. I had 3 visitors that day, I think all of them were me. I missed a few visitors early on because I didn’t realize I needed to add the sitemeter code to show up on individual posts. Michelle Malkin linked to an early post, but I only saw 131 visits because most of the people who clicked over only read that post. Still, it was my first day over 100 visits.

My first day crossing 1000 visitors was Christmas eve 2006. Chris Muir linked to this post. My highest day was earlier this year when people were searching for the text of President Obama’s inauguration speech. I had put it up a few days early. ;-) Got over 3000 visits on inauguration day.

Well, enough of the overly long recap, on with the marathon.

If you can…
