The Storms Before the Fireworks

The Republican Convention, night 3 (or 2b), is under way. But while we wait for Governor Palin’s highly anticipated remarks lets peek into the southern Atlantic.
Here’s the really short version:
Hanna is still a tropical storm and is forecasted to skirt the eastern seaboard.
Ike is now a hurricane. The forecast track places it in the Bahamas around Monday and Southern Florida could follow that.
Tropical storm Josephine is further away and may be losing strength.
