Are You Buying It Poll

The topic using up all the blogosphere’s pixels is Barry O’s “I’m shocked! Shocked I tell you!” speech.

Yesterday we saw a very different vision of America. I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened over the spectacle that we saw yesterday. You know, I have been a member of Trinity United Church of Christ since 1992. I have known Reverend Wright for almost 20 years. The person I saw yesterday was not the person that I met 20 years ago. His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate and I believe that they do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church. They certainly don’t portray accurately my values and beliefs. And if Reverend Wright thinks that that’s political posturing, as he put it, then he doesn’t know me very well. And based on his remarks yesterday, well, I may not know him as well as I thought either.

Truth be told the one thing that I agree with Rev. Wright about is that Barack Obama is nothing more and nothing less than a political creature.

I think that Barack Obama is as sincere a political figure I have EVER seen. I do not think he is the type of individual who does things for political expedience. My gut tells me that, and it rarely gets anything wrong.

YOU BEST OPEN YOUR EYES AND EARS AND LISTEN REAL CLOSE TO THE SPEECHS AND WATCH HIS SPEECHS CLOSE AND HOW HE CARRIES HIS SELF. CLOSE YOU GUT FEELING. YOU ARE LIKE MANY WHO GOT CAUGHT UP IN OBAMAS WAVE OF DREAMS.HE COULD BE A PREACHER TOMORROW AND HE WOULD HAVE THOUNSANDS DRAWN TO HIM. HE IS A SMOOTH TALKER. HOWEVER PUT HIM UNDER PRESSURE HE FOLDS AND LOOSES HIS
CONSINTRATION,THAT MAKES HIS SPEECHS SO SMOOTH,HE BEGINS TO STUDDER , HASETATE BETWEEN SAYING THE WRONG THING,AND TRYING NOT TO STUMBLE ON HIS ANSWERS.ONLY WHEN HE MAKES HIS OWN SPEECHS, AND NO ONE PUTS PRESSURE ON HIM CAN HE STAY COOL AND SMOOTH. AND GRASP AN AUDIENCE. IN A CONTROLLED INTANT. PEOPLE HAVE TO STOP LISTENING TO THE DREAM AND PROMISES AND START LOOKING AND LISTENING TO THE MAN AND WHO HE IS .AND WHAT HE TRULLY WANTS AND THAT IS TO MAKE HISTORY AND BE THE FIRST BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE.THE COUNTRY IS IN SO MUCH TROUBLE RIGHT NOW ,JUST IN OUR COUNTRY ALONE, WE CANT LET A DREAM INTERFERE WITH WHAT IS NEEDED MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW . WHICH IS OUR PEOPLE WHITE ,BLACK, CHINESE, SPANISH ETC. NEED A LEADER THAT CAN DO THE JOB FROM DAY ONE AND NOT JUST LOOK GOOD IN THE WHITE HOUSE. MAYBE LATER ,RIGHT NOW LETS JUST DO THE RIGHT THING FOR OUR COUNTRY . LETS USE THE FIGHTER ,BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IS GOING TO TAKE RIGHT NOW TO START RESOLVEING OUT PROBLEMS. MC CAIN WILL WHIPE OBAMA OFF THE MAP. CLINTON WILL OVER POWER HIM JUST AS SHE DOES OBAMA. BECAUSE SHE IS A FIGHTER FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE NOW NOT NEXT YEAR.
