WordPress users who are waiting for the release of version 2.5, originally slated for yesterday, will have to wait a little bit longer. The development team has pushed the delivery back a week until 3/17.

WordPress set an ambitious schedule of releasing a “dot” upgrade every three months. They made the decision to skip the 2.4 release due to end of the year holidays and a birth in the family for one of the lead developers. The current version is 2.3.3

By the way, the logo is one I made based on the latest WordPress logo. I have a few others in different sizes, with and without the 2.5, if anyone is interested.
