No More First Cup

I am going to discontinue posting the First Cup every morning. I’ll still be “up before dawn to bring you thoughts from the right,” but the daily open post has run it’s course.

When I first started blogging nearly three years ago Open Trackback posts were a great way to point people to things I wrote. Outside The Beltway and Mudville Gazette were both places that I used for that purpose daily.

Of course blogging continues to change. When I first started running the Overnight News Open Post I would get quite a few trackbacks each night. When I combined the First Cup with the ONOP that continued for a while. Now it is only occasionally that anyone tracks to the daily post, so it’s time for a change.

Well, my question is: am I allowed to read a blog entitled “bRight & Early” if I don’t usually get to it until the afternoon?

Of course, the real reason is that you’ve finally run out of quotes about coffee!

Dana, You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to read bRight & Early anytime. As for the coffee quotes, I ran out of them LONG ago and have been recycling the same 30 or so for over a year. :-D

OK, it’s 3:35 PM as I’m checking in!
