Wyatt, of Support Your Local Gunfighter and Blogs.4Bauer.com, is someone I count among my blog-friends. When he isn’t sharing “the funny” with his readers, obsessing about hockey, or bemoaning his son’s support for Tony Stewart, he is a Philadelphia police detective.

If you have read or heard about the shooting and death of Philadelphia Police Officer Chuck Cassidy, you can imagine the pain that Wyatt is feeling at the loss of his friend and fellow officer.

Please read his post about The Charles “Chuck” Cassidy Family Memorial Fund and do what you can, if you can.

My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Cassidy’s family, and with Wyatt and the other members of the Philadelphia police force.
