Phillies LogoAs I said earlier, this is going to be a long dozen days. The Mets beat Washington 8-4 while San Diego is leading the Pirates in the third. Philadelphia, meanwhile, is tied at 1 with St. Louis going into the top of the 9th.

I had really hoped to go to bed the same day I woke up for a change, but it looks like I’ll be falling asleep on the couch waiting for a final score. Which means that I’ll see the final score of the Phil’s game the same as if I had gone on to bed.

Being a fan can be tiring. (Two on, one out in the Phillies half of the ninth.)

Morning Update: Lost 1-0 in 10. Back to 2.5 back in the East and Wild Card.

Help me fix the car and get back on the road!
