A little change around here, one I’ve been contemplating for some time. I started the Overnight News Open Post well over a year ago. The idea was to have a place for late night bloggers to leave links to their posts. Well, it usually didn’t happen that way. Most folks wouldn’t start leaving their posts until the next day.
My other daily post was this First Cup post. I tried to link to 3-5 great fresh posts from around my blogroll each morning along with any Blogiversaries for the day. That wasn’t always easy at 4:30am. I have also found that doing all that reading of other folks posts left me little time to seek out the things I wanted to blog about.
So, I am going to combine the two. The First Cup will still have the Blogiversary wishes and now it will be an open post as well.
Of course this is a blog, so things are always subject to change.
