UPDATE on the NOT Official Army dot com story (see also here and here): What I can only guess is the site owner left a comment attempting to indicate that the site is part of the USAREC (Army Recruiting Command) headquartered at Fort Knox, KY. However, I received an email from someone at USAREC which said,
This site has been blocked by our administrators. I would therefore
assume that it is a frauduent site.
I am waiting for a response from the Public Affairs office at Fort Knox for further confirmation about the legitimacy of this site. I have also emailed the (changed yesterday) email contact listed on the site in question.
