Someone attempted to join the Blogiversary Database just now with a web site they call Join The Army. The web URI they use is OfficialArmy dot com.
And here’s the big surprise — I’m convinced it’s probably a phishing site. They want your SS# in order to send you information on joining the army (The official army recruiting site has a spot for that information, but clearly notes that it is optional). Yeah, right. Low life idiots!
I have already contacted GoDaddy, which is the whois listed registrar. I have some additional information if the DoD is interested.
