Happy 3rd Blogiversary to
Tammis World

Usually when I want a good laugh I can turn to Day by Day, ScrappleFace, Iowahawk, and TOM coverage of the war.

Or, there’s Hillary:

Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton told Democrats Tuesday the “vast, right-wing conspiracy” is back, using a phrase she once coined to describe partisan criticism.

[...]

On Tuesday, she asserted the conspiracy is alive and well, and cited as proof the Election Day 2002 case of phone jamming in New Hampshire, a case in which two Republican operatives pleaded guilty to criminal charges, and a third was convicted.

Those evil Rethuglicans! It’s all a one way street. The Party of Outstanding Purity (POOP™) would never do things like slash van tires or over run campaign offices.

Sadly, this plays well with the left.

New Hampshire Democratic Party chairwoman Kathy Sullivan said she absolutely agreed with the senator’s description of the case.

“People think we’re paranoid when we talk about the vast right-wing conspiracy, but there is a real connection of these groups — the same names keep popping up,” said Sullivan. “They are the most disgusting group of political thugs that I have ever seen.”

“We’re not paranoid, it’s just that everyone is out to get us!”

I’ve had my laugh for the morning. Now, could we get a stock clerk on aisle 8? The tin foil shelf is empty again.

UPDATE: Captain Ed beat me to the submit button by one minute and had this to say:

One might think that a candidate for national office would avoid recalling such an example of paranoia and gullibility. Apparently, Hillary’s desperation has reached a level where she needs to tap into the neuroses of her base.

He also notes that this should keep Beth posting for some time. That’s a good thing.
