He’s Mad, He’s Bad . . .

. . . and he’s almost back. Jack Bauer that is.
24 Season six starts next Sunday. That means that if you start right now, have all five previous seasons recorded or on dvd, sleep less than 7 hours a night, and don’t let things like work, family, and eating interfere, you can watch all that’s gone on in seasons 1-5 before the new season starts.
I’ve added a link to the Blogs4Bauer website in the right sidebar, and hope to have the blogroll code up there later today.
I’ve also created a separate forum in the bRight & Early Forum just for discussion surrounding 24.
After spending a year in the hands of the Chinese, I have a feeling that Jack’s going to be a little irritable when he returns. I can’t wait.

I watched Season Four right before Five started and that was hard to do, much less watching five full seasons before Six.
But alas, thank you for letting me know if I’ll be a homer for the next week, I can cram it all in. I assume you did account for each episode on DVD being 46 minutes as opposed to the full hour?

I forgot about the commercials. That allows another 4 hours a day for all that other stuff.

It’s much more than that. It’s around 28 hours worth of viewing you can add. That does not take into account the first episodes of each season being longer than the normal 46 minutes the rest were, if memory serves.
Either way, if one were to try to pick up on what’s going on, they better get started. That or you probably could get away with watching Four and Five without much of a hitch, but then again who knows what type of plot they plan to get back from the Chinese or if they’ll figure out Tony wasn’t really dead. The latter is something I hope they do. Kind of just a J.R. Ewing type dream sequence.

Well, pardon my misread of what you wrote. Yeah, if one were to start today they would gain four extra hours per day.

I watched 1-4 over a few week period during the early fall, then watched season 5 on A&E. I am anxious to see what they come up with for season 6. I’m betting it will be worth watching.

Even if it’s not ‘worth watching,’ that doesn’t mean I won’t.

Sorry to bust in. I wrote an article on why conservatives like Jack Bauer.
