Sunday Blog Stuff

Jim Lynch December 3rd, 2006 2:45 pm

I’ve spent a good part of this morning making some changes here. Mostly with the plugins (one of the things I really like about WordPress) and the layout. What’s New:

  • Formating Tag Buttons for comments. Works on the individual page, but not in the comment popup box. I don’t know what the problem is.
  • Live Comment Preview. You will see what you’ve entered in a comment right below the text box. Same issues as with the quick tags.
  • Subscribe to Comments. This plugin allows you to receive an email when someone comments after you do. It is working in both places.

All indications are that the issue with updated blogs in blogrolling.com has been fixed. The issue, as William Teach also noticed, appeared to be with weblogs.com or with blogrolling pulling the information from there. In any case it is working now.

If you haven’t done so yet, please go over an visit Brian and do what you can. I know he’ll appreciate it.

Pirate’s Cove is now displaying the Blogiversary Database Code, but that leaves somewhere near 100 of the 163 blogs in the database that don’t have the code on their site.

Now it’s time to go watch some football.

    Visit Tehran, Get Fingerprinted…

American citizens wishing to enter Iran are going to be fingerprinted on arrival. I find it very interesting that the council members are chosen directly and indirectly by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and they voted against the desire…
