AT 1100 PM AST…0300Z…THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FLORENCE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 17.7 NORTH…LONGITUDE 49.5 WEST OR ABOUT 895 MILES…1440 KM…EAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS.
The current five day projection make it look as if Florence will head north of Florida. Of course a lot can change in that time. I don’t think I’ll miss any sleep over this tonight.
