The 11:00 EDT update from the National Hurricane Center says that tropical depression #6 is now tropical storm Florence.
Florence is still very far away from U.S. landfall, too far away for any type of prediction regarding where it will strike. Of course those of us in Florida, and up the east coast, will be watching.
