First CupCoffee falls into the stomach … ideas begin to move, things remembered arrive at full gallop … the shafts of wit start up like sharp-shooters, similes arise, the paper is covered with ink… ~ Honore de Balzac

Blogs for Bush (Mark Noonan) An Inconvenient Immigration Tale — “Part of the problem of the rampant illegal immigration is that we don’t know who is coming in – whereas if we gain strict control of our border we can let in as many as we like (heck, as many as come in now, if we like) but we’ll be able to know who they are and, perhaps, be able to do some background checking.”

In the Bullpen (Chad Evans) What are Zarqawi’s Intentions? — “Lt. Gen. John R. Vines claims Al Qaida in Iraq and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi are set to abandon Iraq after seeing most of their plans erode and fail.”

TMH’s Bacon Bits (DL) Rights: Imported and Domestic — “America suffers from “If it feels good, it’s my right” syndrome. This syndrome actually functions like an anti–venom treatment for anyone who is bitten by the deadly responsibility viper. The responsibility viper is a serpent that is primarily indigenous to red states, but unfortunately its anti-venom (givitome) is primarily produced in the educational laboratories and institutions of the blue states. (It is obtained in raw form by extracted donkey feces.)”

Iowa Voice (Brian) Newsweek Hearts Ted Kennedy — “Totally gag-worthy article, to which I have one question. Biased much?”

As always, visit the sites linked on this site.  I’ve linked them for a reason. [...]
