Johnny Ruvalcaba found my blog by typing in “May 1st immigrant boycott sacramento” into Yahoo. Mr. Ruvalcaba was using a computer in the Sacramento County Office Of Education. He might be a student. I don’t know. This is the blog post Mr. Ruvalcaba found (It’s a coalition posted entry):

This is his comment:

It’s sad to see the ignorance of the ani-immigrant mind, they tell us Latinos that an amnesty will doom “THIER” beautiful country, (which runs on immigrants) do to the fact that this event will repeat itself and immigrants 10 years from now will again DEMAND a well deserved amnesty. This country is doomed without us, Immigrants are the backbone of the USA no matter what they do what they say, and what disgusting law they pass, WE ARE HERE TO STAY!!!!!!!!!!!! we work to keep up a country which turns its back on its base. its time we unite and fight back, LATINOS UNIDOS. Jamas seran vencidos. (Latinos United. We are invincible. VW)

Dear Mr. Ruvalcaba,

You are wrong on just about every count. It’s sad to see the misguided illegal immigrant mind. First of all, it is MY beautiful country and that of EVERY legal immigrant. If it isn’t YOUR country, feel free to get your illegal rear end out.

This country does not run on immigrants. Some industries rely on illegal immigrants invaders more than others, but we really are not as dependent as you think. As a matter of fact, they are a huge drain on our resources, everything from education to health care.

What makes you think an illegal immigrant invader has the right to DEMAND anything. You don’t.

Immigrants are not the backbone. It’s true that all of us here migrated here one way or another – even the Indians. My wife is the daughter of immigrants, but there is one small fact you are missing. I’m not an immigrant. I was born here. My wife isn’t an immigrant and neither are our children. We are native born citizens. We are a nation born of immigration, but most of the 300 million people here today are not immigrants. We were born here. Regardless of our ethnicity, religion, or country of origin, we are a nation of people who were born here, grew up here and make our lives here.

Your little protest might slow things down for a day, but rest assured, things will be back to normal May 2nd.

If you think our laws are disgusting, you are free to take your happy ass to whatever country you find to be less disgusting.

Hey Johnny! I have an idea that will make our laws less disgusting to you and make it more like home. Let’s have the same laws as Mexico! Whaddya think?

What are you fighting for Johnny, to make this country into some third world crap hole?

I’m not against immigrants. I welcome LEGAL immigrants. One of my co-workers is a Hispanic immigrant. He came here legally from the Dominican Republic when he was 19 years old. He became a citizen at some point. He joined the United States Air Force and retired after almost 30 years after achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (or just plain Chief as we called them). That is an E-9, the highest enlisted grade. Retired Chief M is a standup guy.

Would you like to ask Retired Chief M what he thinks about illegal immigrants? You won’t like his answers. I guarantee it. He’s a lot harsher than I am.

This is not Aztlan or Anuhac or an extension of Mexico. We are the United States and we have a right to pass laws to protect our sovereignty. Shout your slogans all you want. It isn’t making you a lot of friends.

This IS our Beautiful Country. If you can’t respect our laws, leave.
